Peace March On Penn St. Bridge

Dear Mayor McMahon: Did these war protesters have a permit to march? I received several calls about these war protestors. This is just one more thing that sends a bad image of Reading,Pa.

Vote On HighSpeed Internet For Home

I told the Reading School Board and the administration that I would continue to pay for my own internet connection. The Reading Eagle didn't print that in their article.

A smile is painless and will make the person who receives it feel good. This is some of the only Feel good government that I believe in.

When Will The Madness End

The Reading School Board voted to send (4) board members to SanFrancisco in April of 2007.This cost will be over $2,000 per person plus expenses. The vote was 6 for and 2 against,William Cinfici joined me in voting no for this trip.

Government Class

Today I had the opportunity to speak to two government classes at the High School. It was a rewarding experience and I would encourage any school directors to do the same thing. I answered several questions regarding school board business and politics.

Quote from President Theodore Roosevelt - 1907

Re: Immigration

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birthplace or origin".

"But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American...there can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...we have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people".

River Fest Had Low Attendance

The Mayor had A Feel Good Time at the Riverfest. It's too bad the food vendors didn't have that same experience. Maybe if the Riverfest wasn't held during the same weekend as The Oley Fair, the food vendors would have been able to make some money.

People Amaze Me

Why are people afraid of what I might run for? Please keep trying to censor me because it makes me more determined to tell the story. Remember Keith Stamm only wants to Shine The Light!

Jamie Wertz ESQ. To Be Sworn In Tonight

Jamie Wertz Esq. will be sworn in at tonights meeting at 6:30 pm. She will be replacing Dr. Frederick Gaige.

Weeu Not Being Fair

Today,Will Cinfici was allowed on Weeu feedback show to speak about Iraq. Will is a Reading School Director and was allowed to speak. Keith Stamm is a Reading School Director and wasn't allowed to speak last week. Why are they afraid of Keith Stamm?

Republicans and Democrats

This post is in reference to a comment I received on my blog. In my view, the people on the Republican side dislike me partially because they can't except the fact that over 5,000 Democrats voted for me. Please remember - our goal should be to all work together in unity. To the people on the Democratic side who dislike my views, please keep score because more often then not, I help people regardless of their party affiliation.

Person Questioned My Involvement

Someone sent me an e-mail and questioned my involvement with Joan Cassidy. I'm an elected public official and Joan asked me twice to help her. When the Mayor of Reading is so busy and doesn't want to help people, then maybe he should resign. I will always try to help someone solve their problem when it seems as if other people are ignoring them.

Editorial From The Cape Gazette

Cape school board: Stay transparent
Cape Henlopen School Board and other public bodies should avoid closed meetings like the plague. Elected officials and administrators of public institutions serve the public, and all of their doings are public business. It's not out of a sense of nosiness that the public wants to be involved in the management of its institutions;rather, the public knows that the less its governing bodies conduct their business behind closed doors, the stronger their decisions will be and the fewer the subsequent problems. Cape Henlopen School District has been stung in the past when court rulings found the district held improper secret sessions. A taxpayer group, suing over the process leading up to the referendum vote in favor of a new high school,on numerous occasions has cited questionable closed school board meetings. Based on past and present circumstances, its clear that getting the process absolutely right and conducting public business as transparently as possible is critically important during this dynamic time in Cape Henlopen School District's history.

What's Going On At City Hall?

Ms. Joan Cassidy contacted me on 9-20-06. She told me how the city pension system deducts monies from her deceased husband's pension for insurance. The problem is Capital Blue Cross tells her the insurance was terminated due to nonpayment by the city. I went to see Mayor Tom McMahon today to help Joan with her problem. The problem is the Mayor apparently doesn't have time for a lifelong democrat. What is happening with the money at city hall? This sure looks like fraud! Please help me by contacting Mayor Tom and ask what is going on with pensioners monies.

Electricity Bills At Various Reading Schools

In the near future I will list Electric bills for various schools throughout the Reading School District.

I will make this part of our Energy Committee update. Tomorrow I will meet with our Business Manager,One of our Maintenance Directors,Director of Security, and three of our finest students from the High School.

I'm taking this moment to thank everyone involved with this. Everyone is excited to be a part of this committee.

Already,I have been approached by two memebers of our student council to recycle. I complimented them on bringing this to my attention. This is something that should be looked at,for revenue and also to save our environment.

Unhinged Liberals At It Again

I want to thank the liberals who attacked me. You are preparing me for a higher political office. I will make the decision to run after the election in November 2006.

(The Stamm Factor)Open Records

I want to encourage any citizen of Reading ,Pa to submit a request in writing for Cell Phone Records. The Open Records law states that anything that is paid for with public monies is available for your perusal.

I will continue to ask about our 600 long distance phone lines. Phone calls are made worldwide on Reading,State and Federal Taxpayers.

Why is the current Reading School Administration scared of addressing this issue? Remember, many people in high places are afraid of Keith Stamm. May I ask Why?

Elected Official Not Allowed On Weeu

Today,I called the Mike Faust feedback show on WEEU. Mitch Gerhart told me it was too close to an election to speak. Its amazing that a School Director is banned from this Radio station for wanting to discuss several issues.

These issues were non political type issues: The proposed smoking ban, the issue with the Oley schoolboard, and the third issue pertained to the state police. I will continue to keep the public informed if I have to hand deliver flyers. Why are they so afraid of Keith Stamm?

Archives Are Worth Reading

Please click on the Archive files and enjoy what you read

Public Outcry

Recently, while marching in the Labor Day parade I saw a sign hanging from a tree. It read Keith Stamm for Mayor 2007. This sign made me smile knowing I have support throughout the city.
I'm constantly being asked what office im running for. I honestly do not know at this time.

ThankYou For The 13,000 hit Milestone

This blog oringinally started with a Reading High School students senior project. I want to thank Todd Zehner for his hard work in setting this blog site up originally.

State Police To Help Reading

If our Mayor is serious about helping the city then we should use police dogs. It is ok to use the State Police, but you have to use them for more then just patrols.

Why can't the State Police come to Reading with their dogs? Let's start by checking the buses that come into the bus terminal. Then lets bring the dogs through Reading High School.
The following week we can check the tractor trailers delivering shipments of supplies to Reading businesses.

Energy Committee To Focus On Lights

For Your Information: Sometimes electric bills for Reading High School are $30,000 for one month.

This will gives us plenty of motivation and potential for reducing costs.

Directors Decide on Board Vacancy

It appeared the Reading School Board was in another deadlock. Then Will Cinfici suggested a 5 minute break, and President Cooper said to take 10 minutes.

When we came back the board voted to fill Dr. Frederik Gaiges vacancy with an attorney. Her name is Jamie Wertz Esq. Please welcome Jamie to the Reading School Board if you see her .

School Board Vacancy

Today, we will interview several more candidates for the vacant Scool Director seat. I will keep you updated on this important issue.

Lunch With Genaro Pullano

Today,I had lunch with Genaro Pullano former city council candidate who ran against Donna Reed. Genaro and I talked about several things such as when he applied for the School Directors replacement.

Other items discussed were, who should replace City Councilwoman (Donna Reed) upon her recent resignation. Genaro asked me if I was going to run for Mayor. I told him it was to soon for that decision.

I think if the city doesn't hold an election for Donna Reeds seat, then Genaro should be the replacement because he had the next highest vote totals.

(The Stamm Factor)

This question is directed to schoolboards nationwide. Does your schoolboard have refreshments at all your meetings? Who is allowed to eat at this feast? (everyone in the audience) attorneys, custodians, administrators, etc. I'm only taking a survey, and the information will be interesting.

September 11th, 2001

Please take a moment today to reflect on the events of 9-11-01. I have various emotions regarding this day in history.

I hope the people who have lost someone in this tragedy have the strength to survive today. I'm sure it is a very difficult time. I want you to know my thoughts are with you at this time of remembrance.

Follow The Money Trail

Just look who supported Kevin Timochenko ( Kenneth Christian, Councilman Jeff Waltman who works for Kenneth Christian, Commissioner Tom Gajeweski, Sandy Solomon, Several attorneys, Mayor Thomas McMahon, Richard Ehst and many other notables.

This is just like Jack Abbramowitch, the great lobbyist. So, Mayor Tom, you're going to clean up crime and still support Kevin. This is a typical Democrat Flip Flop.

Simple Wisdom

"Deciding what is needed creates the possibility of getting it."

Response to Courage and Class in editorial Sept. 10th,2006

Does it take courage to back a criminal like (Kevin Timochenko) or does it take Class to back that same criminal.

I'm hopeful everyone who lives in Wyomissing doesn't think this way!

For All School Directors Nationwide

Google search (FBI), Click on the main FBI page, then click on what we investigate, then click on public corruption and then look for Recent stories and read Protecting our schools from corruption.

Famous Hillary Quote

"It seems there are some in Washington who want to turn the capitol into an evidence-free zone." Senator Hillary Clinton, urging attendees at the World Transplant Congress in Boston to "stand up for science," accusing President Bush of making decisions based on "Ideology and Theology"for vetoing federal funding for embryonic stem cell research.

Display Of American Flag

I'm proud to say that the American Flag is now being displayed properly at Reading High School.

Thank you to all the people involved who helped to make this happen. When you drive by Reading High School at night be sure to look at this flag. It is now illuminated by spot lights at night.

Senator O'Pake has pamphlets on how to fly the American Flag.

Cell phone Update

I think we should suggest everyone getting a cell phone in the Reading School District.

Then we can have GPS tracking and see if our employees are abusing their time. Then we will know if they're at the store, restaurant, having breakfast with a board member, or just hiding in the George field office with the air conditioning on.

I continually look for new ideas and suggestions.

Liberals Hate Simplicity

Liberals always like to complicate the things that take simple answers to fix an issue or problem.

To The People Who Attack My Convictions

Please take your anger out on Hillary Clinton and not me. Better yet, look at people like the Mayor of Reading who defend a criminal like (Kevin Timochenko)

To The People Who Would like to Criticize my Credentials

Maybe these so called experts would like to have a meeting . Then we can Flow Chart their jobs, whether it's a Reading School District Employee or an outside contractor!

These schools should not have opened when they did. Hopefully, you experts run for office and become a school director. Then you might realize what public office is about.

Thanks; Your friendly school director

The Current Situation At Glenside Elementary

Reports of our Facilities director directing traffic while wearing a tie amused me. A facility director wearing a tie, let alone direct traffic.

Where are the police? Where are our security people? Where is our new security chief?

Maybe we found a job for our facilities director? I question opening the schools without having our Lawyers reviewing documents given to us from the City Of Reading.

ThankYou For The Removal Of The Famous Coke Can

The Esplanade, at Southern Middle School currently doesn't have the famous can of Coke anymore. Thankyou for all parties involved with this project for correcting this.

Potential Mold Problem At Reading High School

September 6th, 2006: This morning I was at the high school library and saw a leaking roof. A book shelf which had approximately 100 books on it was soaked with moisture.

I did report this to Dr. Norman and the superintendent's office.

Funeral Of Chales T.Wagner

Todays funeral service brought tears to everyone that I saw in Nativity Lutheran church. It also brought smiles as the minister recalled manerisms of our friend Charlie.

Charlie, was your friend even if you were never involved in baseball. I would enjoy his talks of rooming with Ted Williams the best.

I will never forget this friend that I had, and always remember how nice of man he was. He always had a kind word to say about everyone.

In My Opinion ( The Stamm Factor)

The magnet schools shouldn't have opened today September 5th,2006: Reasons, included leaking roofs, heating and cooling systems not adjusted properly, plastic coverings on the windows,no kitchen equipment, and not one piece of landscaping was done.

Card security systems weren't complete when I toured the magnet school in Glenside today.

Future problems in the near future, are going to be children focused on the bulldozers and not their lesson plans.

Excuses will be,"Oh we had all this rain", "It's the fault of the architect", My punch list is done,I worked seven days a week,If this is true ,then Im glad were looking at Gps tracking!

"Will We Ever Know The Truth"

Pot seized in Exeter valued at $1,000,000: Upon my investigation,1100 Lincoln Road was purchased on 4-13-2006 from a company called G&M housing I N C. located at 28 Rutledge in Brooklyn NY.

Could this explain all our long distance phone calls to Brooklyn?

Coke Can at SOUTHERN Middle School

If you have a moment, please stop at Southern Middle school and look at the esplanade. When your entering the landing please look for the fabulous can of coke under the railing.
