TIF PROPOSAL

This is a tax increase anyway you look at it. Just like the Bond Swaps that were done. They mortgaged away the future.

I ask any voter to take this city proposal to their accountant or financial advisor. They will tell you it looks like a tax increase.

Latest proposal from the city is to create TIF zones. TIF stands for Tax increment financing. This will chase more middle income people away from our city. Details will come out in the near future. I'm amazed that the city would even think to propose this in an election year.

Memorial Day Parade

Mr. Brian Mengel played the echo part of taps today at Charles Evans cemetery. He is a freshman at Reading High School. He did an excellent job and I will commend him for it.

Please, check the election of 2002. I received 5,013 democratic votes and over 1900 republican votes.

I always had democratic appeal. The Democratic party called me every two weeks for almost two years for me to change my party registration.

I campaigned in Centre Park Historic district today . I enjoyed debating some hard core Democrats.

These democrats respected my position and were impressed with me going door to door.

Crime in the city of Reading

Crime will not go away with the illegal drug trade continuing. Mr. Mayor how would you feel if one of you're daughters were raped. Rapes are up 65% in the first three months of 2007.
