Approximately (6) months ago I asked Mr. Boscov about security cameras. He told me that they didn't have any problems at the Google Works and cameras were not needed. That is what you call Feel Good Government!
I guess the Feel Good society believes that crime does not exist in Reading!

When you visit the Berkshire Country Club, do they have video cameras trained on you? I bet not.
Same with the Reading Country Club, etc.
When I visit the Goggle Works, I want to believe that it's the same posh setting. Cameras would offend many visitors.
Neither the Berkshire or the Reading C.C. is located in the crime ridden city. Not only should the Goggle Works have security cameras, armed guards wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

Cameras will not change attitudes and cure the ills of our society. All the money and grants available will not either.

Looks like the "Feel Good Society" has reduced major crime in our city by 26% in the first half of 2007. 12 new hires in the Police Dept will get us staffed up to 215.You talk about being tough on crime our Mayor and Police Chief actually are and it's showing...
