Reading Pride
The first annual Reading Pride celebration was held yesterday in Centre Park. Over 50 vendors had tents, tables and products available, the park was filled with rainbow flags and entertainment was underway all afternoon on the stage. No Republican candidate saw fit to speak with a community where many of the people actually vote. The Democrats with tables were: Berks for Edwards (President), Tom McMahon, Tim Rowley, Mike Garipoli, Fred Sheeler and Mike Morrill. Congressional candidate Dave Baker also attended along with Green Party candidate Jennaro Pullano.
These are the ONLY candidates looking for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender vote in Berks County so vote accordingly folks. Not a single candidate for County Commissioner appeared. All candidates in attendance got to speak from the stage.
Thanks for NOT attending, Keith, you are one of the few to show good judgement. Let the others pander to the perverted.
As Apple Computer said in '84 when the Macintosh 128K was first introduced "a computer for the rest of us". Those candidates not attending are "for the rest of us" and "us" are the SILENT MAJORITY.
Well I hope Keith has a silent majority! Because he will need it. My opinion is there is no way in hell he will be Mayor. Maybe since Keiths right hand man Nelson Diaz wants to get out of here so bad, he can help get Keith a one way ticket the hell out of here! Why would you want someone helping your campaign that has made it public that they want OUT OF HERE!!!!! HELLO??????
