Was supposed to be tough on crime. Question number #1, How do you eliminate Police dogs and be Tough on Crime?

Question #2, How can he be Tough on crime, if after (3) years rapes increase 60% in the first two months of 2007. ?????

Flag at Reading High School

For approximately (1 ) year I've been trying to have this flag illuminated at night. I will ask the board if we should take it down since evidently this situation can't be corrected. The district has spent over three hundred dollars and countless hours in trying to correct this situation.

Congratulations to the Energy committee

All motion sensors have been installed and we will see KWH savings immediately.

Energy Update

Conserving Watts by Watching) An Oregon school district dramatically cuts its energy costs.

Lighting: Metal-halide lighting with 400 watt bulb was replaced with electricity saving high-output T-5 florescent fixtures. Motion sensors now turn lighting off when gymnasiums are not occupied.

I have suggested doing this for three years and the board has continuously not agreed on energy saving ideas.

Flag still doesn't have lights on it

The Reading School District paid over $300.00 dollars for new ballasts. Only one light is working out of three. I guess will have to spend another $600.00 dollars to get the other two lights to work properly.

A Sad Day

The Reading Scool Board did not approve replacing the lighting in the Gyms that included motion sensors. My Energy committee will be very dissapointed.
