Another Victory for the People?

Court ruled Adam Mukerji has to live in Reading. This is the third time the people have won. The Home Inspection Issue, and the Trash issue. Mr. Boscov hopefully realizes the power is with the people.

The power is, in no way, with "The People". The power, in this case, is with the legal system (overpaid attorneys and judges) who were involved in litigating this case.

The average man on-the-street had no knowledge of this matter, nor did he take any action or have any "power".

Further, the charter is totally misguided on this matter. Why should city officials (other than the Mayor) be forced to live in Reading?

The goal should be to make Reading attractive enough that people, generally, will want to live in town (without being coerced).

Philadelphia is undergoing this phenomenon - a lot of suburban couples are selling their swanky homes and moving downtown. Donald Trump is building a new tower at Penn's Landing.

What is Reading doing? Bitching about petty non-sense. It's a third-world city I tell you.
