No Child Left Behind

The law is far from perfect but let us move forward with what is good with the law. It's the first time anyone has been held accountable for a students education.

Remember, the surgeon, dentist, lawyer, and even the enviromental technician is held accountable for their work.

Over 75% of this law was written by Senator Edward Kennedy and President George Bush continues to get blamed for what is wrong with the law.

yah,you want teachers held accountable, and then you have a school board vote to allocate $16,000 for what amounts to bribery to 11th grade students that do just enough to pass on PSSA test! yah, no child left behind!

Education should begin at home - from birth. It's a shame that some people having kids don't want to be bothered with them until it's too late or not at all. Society and the school systems raise their children. Then the parents want to blame everybody, but themselves including the schools, teachers, society and so on when they fail in life or get in trouble. Start placing the blame where it belongs. Get involved with your child. Start by knowing their whereabouts at all times. Know where they are at night and what they are doing. Take an interest in them or do us all a favor and choose to be childless and then we won't have to worry about "No child left behind."
