What Does A School Director Really Care About?
The Reading School Directors voted 8-1 to allow Directors to take more then (2) trips a year. This was justified in their minds if another director gives up their privilege of going. The board would need at least (5) votes to approve. This was voted on at their April 23rd meeting.

nothing with this board suprises me anymore! absolutely amazing the kind of things they approve. The Reading School district students deserve better!!!
Board members:
The taxpayers realize that these trips are not all work and alot of play. If there is a benefit to the taxpayers and especially the students, where is the documentation of what was learned at these conferences? How did the taxpayers/students benefit from the money spent? Or is this a way for you to get an all expense paid vacation on the backs of the hardworking taxpayers? Students are required to hand in reports/homework to the teachers to verify that they are understanding the material being taught. Is the reason the same board members continually attend the same conferences because they are slow learners or again is it a free vacation? Fellow taxpayers - you decide.
