$1.16 million is alot of money) I voted No because I asked for a Forensic Audit in the past due to sloppy books, fundraising,etc.

I voted no to the purchase of Ludens from Hershey Foods and No to the purchase of the Farmers market. I voted NO because the Reading School District has other land that it currently owns that they could of placed more buildings.

I also voted no because I didn't think it was a good idea to take these buildings off the Tax Rolls.

Obama Problem ???

Would Keith Stamm be allowed to have a campaign function at The Geigle complex??? I could have begged The Reading School Board and they wouldn't have left me have an event on school district property.

Preliminary Budget

I voted no to this budget due to what is going on at the State Legislature at this time. The Reading School District at this time does not know how much money it will receive from the State level of government.

This budget could bring Tax increases if the Reading School Board isn't careful with how much they spend.

Drug Sniffers Please

Where are the Drug sniffing dogs that you promised Mr.Mayor? I would think that would be a priority. Drug Dogs would be a priority if you really want to chase Drug Dealers away.

City Officials cars

GPS tracking could help the city check where their cars are at all times. The city must also look at the energy that they use in city hall. Do the air conditioning systems have computer control? Hopefully they do so that these temperatures can be automatically changed for after hours.

McCain should come to Reading

I would love if Senator McCain would ask the Reading School District for the use of their facilities. Would they be treated the same way? Remember, Hillary wanted to come to Reading also.

I wonder what the Governor thinks about Senator Obama having free use of Reading School District facilities? It's hard to explain to other State representatives why Reading needs more money. Federal @ State taxes along with local taxes aren't suppose to run campaigns period!

Why are the water @ sewer bills sent to Philadelphia? Local Reading,Pa. employees could be collecting these bills.

Refinance the Debt?

I really don't think city council or the Mayor want to refinance any more debt! Please look at my previous posts about Bond issues.

New City Development???

Will this developer have monies put aside for new schools??? What happens if these condominiums and rental units can't be filled? Will this take more police patrols?? My suggestion is to build the retail and office space first. If and only after these buildings are filled should residential units be built.

The Mayor and City Council should poll all businesses and not just a few restaurants. I would be ecstatic if everyone from from Doctors, Dentists, and Attorneys agreed that it helped their professions also.

Bike Race in Reading ,Pa

How much did this promotion cost the City of Reading??? How much was spent on police overtime ? How much was spent on the maintenance crews on cleaning up after the extra people were in the city???

How much did the City of Reading make off this bicycle race?? How much money did businesses lose??? or How much did businesses make ?? Mr. Mayor McMahon may we see the statistics???

How much did an attorney lose because they weren't able to conduct business???? How much energy was wasted from being so green when traffic was backed up over penn st.????

Thanks to everyone who was involved in replacing the lights around the Geigle complex. Perhaps , we should have a night shift foreman check for lighting problems throughout the Reading School District.

This could be added to his or her duties to check for lighting issues.

Where are the Drug Sniffing dogs??? Please, check 69 news video from election night. Stamm told the reporter that McMahon now has a license to raise taxes.

This isn't any surprise coming from Tax and Spend politicians.
