Did you tell everyone that many of the ideas you submitted came from a Board Member Keith Stamm who was The Finance Chairman @ Reading School District. Bob, remember how the Board didn't want to reduce Building Temperatures at all. I wanted to set Temperatures to 65F over the weekend.

New Phone System

When the new phone system is installed in Reading School District my hope is that Long Distance calling will be restricted.This way the taxpayer will not be ripped off for calls to New York and Trinidad!

Reading Police

My suggestion during my Mayoral campaign was to have Reading Police travel in pairs.
An extra set of eyes is always safer and will make the criminal element think twice before they do something wrong.

Stamm Suggested Drug Dogs During Campaign

I suggested a team of Drug Sniffing Dogs and a special division of the Reading Police when I was running for office of Mayor.

The first time produced results according to today's Reading Eagle. This same Dog needs to go through Reading High School.

Visit To Albert Boscov

Yesterday, I took Nelson Diaz to meet Albert Boscov. Mr. Boscov was very busy and we rescheduled an appointment around Easter.

Nelson was home on a short Spring break and is having alot of success at Temple University majoring in Political Science. Nelson is a former student from Reading High School.I originally met Nelson when I came in to address his government class.

Another Shooting / Death in Reading

Ideally every bar in Reading would have High Tech. cameras that would be tied into city hall. The owners of these bars would be able to push a button anytime they felt that a situation was going to get out of control. Then the film and image of the people in the establishment would be transmitted to the police and their laptop computers.

Dear City Council and Mayor McMahon,

Please, be prepared to start paying for future legal services,the use of the school districts buildings,etc. It is a shame that you can put $1,000,000 more in the fabulous Goggle Works and $1,000,000 in The Pagoda renovations but can't pay for Police or water. Was any of this related to the so called parade on Friday? One of the victims was from Florida. Was he visiting family or visiting his Drug connection?

Would this have been as safe without 100 policeman an a State Police helicopter? Why did the parade have to start at Reading High School?? Who organized this parade?
