To Teach The Other Side

Today Keith Stamm was called a racist in an e-mail message. This happened because on my blog site I speak about informing the public about both sides of the issues.

I would encourage the person who sent this e-mail to find out about the real Keith Stamm.

You may ask my neighbors who are of African origin if im a racist. Call Hazel Black of the Human Relations Council and ask if I am racist. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at what she will tell you. Please have a great day!

Mr. Stamm,
Please read your post again, and the comment to your blog. I think YOU are missing the point. The poster did not say you were a racist but your comment..about teaching the other side not to smoke, sounds VERY prejudice . Your choices of words is being called into question. The statement you made doesn't sound like a person informing the other side about "A DEBATE" as you are claiming. Simply, IT SOUNDS like you are calling Spanish speakers "the other side." I really don't need to speculate about your beliefs on minorities, but just realize that if you continue to blog without first reading and editting your posts, there will continue to be misinterpretations and criticisms.
Oh, and you can you try to stop calling everyone you disagrees you, "an unhinged liberal?"
BELOW IS THE ORIGINAL POST AND COMMENT IN QUESTION.

Up In Smoke
No Fumar Signs were recently placed at our schools. ( No Smoking in Spanish )

This cost the taxpayers $1,520.78 to teach the other side not to smoke, this is more feel good government. When will we ever learn!!!!
