I will always cherish my conversations with Broadway Charlie. I remember meeting Charlie at Williams restaurant at 9th & Exeter.
Charlie could always make you smile,and would love to tell you plenty of baseball stories. I remember Charlie saying to me about not being dressed, I was only missing a sport coat. We would always laugh about that.
With a tear in my eyes I like to say, I hope Charlie is in heaven with his life long friend (Ted Williams)
