The magnet schools shouldn't have opened today September 5th,2006: Reasons, included leaking roofs, heating and cooling systems not adjusted properly, plastic coverings on the windows,no kitchen equipment, and not one piece of landscaping was done.
Card security systems weren't complete when I toured the magnet school in Glenside today.
Future problems in the near future, are going to be children focused on the bulldozers and not their lesson plans.
Excuses will be,"Oh we had all this rain", "It's the fault of the architect", My punch list is done,I worked seven days a week,If this is true ,then Im glad were looking at Gps tracking!

Keith my name is Rick and i am a maintenance employee for RSD. Your concern for the magnet schools not being fit for kids makes me laugh .Revnovations to schools are never completed on the timeframe that is allowed to the contractors. It's not just the READING SCHOOLS DISTRICT ask the teachers and students of wilson high and muhlenberg schools. In fact ask any district that is going through these type of projects. I enjoy reading you blog when it's informative but to pick on things you have no knowledge WELL leaave that to the Donna Reeds
