hi Mr Stamm
How about a big hand for all the help down at tyson elem school! There was a fire set by a student on the 2nd floor rear in the New section that set off a sprinkler head and water made itself down to the rooms on the 2nd floor and 1st floor BIG Thanks to the Custodians from tyson and the Foreman Mark Miller,Bill Knowles and the Plumbers that were at the scene first to help the Fire Dept and then helped called in the rest of the Maintence Dept to asst on the clean up THANKS TOO ALL!

Is the Goggle Works in business to make money?

Does it really matter that their cash flow hasn't (yet) covered operating expenses? What "new business" breaks even the first year or two?

I thought the Goggle Works was designed to be a catalyst for growth/change/improvement in Reading, post-Wilson Safety Products.

I really don't understand why everyone seems to have an axe to grind around the Goggle Works.

If you become Mayor, you will be asked to articulate your turn-around plan for The City; time is running out for Reading - I legitimately hope that you can come up with something positive.

as Gomer would say "Surprise, Surprise, Surprise".

To BREAK EVEN all public tax money must be paid back. Does Reading really need another artist? We need Wilson Safety! Does RHS really need another Art Room? Enough is enough!

I don't think that any tax money should be paid back. If you're not happy with the situation in Reading, move the hell out.

To address multiple post here let me say that I don't know if RHS needs another Art Room. I DO know the students at RHS need art and music in addition to their needs of reading and math for the TEST. The testing doesn't tell the whole story about a student and never will. That is NCLB for you. That is of course courtesy of G.W.

And another thing courtesy of G.W. is the FACT that he has allowed and shall I say pushed the legislation (and signed into law of course) to not only allow but to give tax breaks to companies that move jobs overseas to "cheaper" labor markets at the expense of companies like Agere and maybe even Wilson! Again courtesy of G.W., our Republican President!
