You "Sir" it is one thing to call to the attention of the district problems that exist in the school or schools. But to publish something that could lead to multiple law suits for the district is irresponsible. Maybe the taxpayers should charge you for the legal costs that result from your carelessness!

The taxpayer has every right to know the condition of the schools and the condition the students study under.

Thanks Keith for looking out for "US".

Keith remember this issue when you think about renovating ST.JOES.As the president of the hosipital said in this mornings paper at St. Joes. we were continuing to sew patches on a old wine skin and it was not working.Make the inside look pretty as the 16th chapel but if the old bricks suck in the water your gonna had mold.Old buildings were not made with A.C in mind

Do you yell "fire" in a crowded theater as well?? Freedom of speech is one thing, irresponsible and inflamatory comments are another. Before you spead panic and fear among the students, staff an parents you should first bring your issues to the administration to have them checked into responsibly. If you did so and were ignored, then you have every right to publicise their lack of response. If not, then you should first do so and not unnecessarily alarm the community.

The real questions are:

(a) How many students actually read your blog on a regular basis?

(b) How many have inclination and ability to act upon your request?

Umm.. Let's see, send it to "your teachers", Tommy Chapman, Principal, the School Board, and the Guidance Office. Sounds like a lot of work.

Do you really want to stir up issues with the students; guess the board isn't busy enough.

Bottom line = If you're concerned, *personally* fund an expert to come in (on a Saturday) and measure/test the environment.

If something meaningful is found, get the District to take action. If not, move on to your next assault on The Goggle Works.

Just so you don't think I'm a muck-raker, I will gladly contribute $100 toward the cost of testing.

FYI

Air quality tests and building inspections have been done in various buildings throughout the district in the past. Where are the results kept and what was the outcome? Are the results available for the public? What happened to the list of items that needed to be addressed when the RSD Safety Comittee passed through different areas/buildings in the district? Or is that committee another waste of time?

Keep up the good work Keith!
