Subject: Reading Eagle article dated 12/12/08 in B- section by Don Spatz regarding Reading City council and Reading School board are not on the same page. In the article Don said that I was threatening.
My statement was to Reading City Council and the Mayor. Please, think and be careful before you charge the Reading School district for water.We will then have to charge the city legal fees for the work which we now do on assessement appeals. The Reading School district also pays for three people in the cities finance department. If this sounded like a threat it wasn't. I was only explaining to elected officials of the city what the School Districts alternative might be if we are charged for water.

Stammie, and if you WERE THE MAYOR, you would not even think about charging school district for water...Yeah right !!! you would be leading the charge for that, and, make the SD pay 100% for policemen at high school as well, they can afford it, RSD gets boo-c

Explain to us taxpayers, how Keith Stamm city budget would be as Mayor (what would you cut or not cut) or would you be more interested on which lights on Penn Str. are out... What say you...
