The next time you see Dr. Chapman ask him how many phone lines the school district has. The next time you see a school director, ask them about the phone lines.
So Keith, is it the long distance phone lines, the cell phones, or both?
If there is abuse, (which probably there is) what do you think the costs come to each year? A few hundred or a few thousand in the multi-million dollar budget.
Come one now!!! I respect your quest for cost saving measures, but isn't there something even bigger, even more grotesque in the RSD budget????
Do you remember a bit ago when the custodial staff was to be privatized??? WOW!! Maybe ALL of the schools would have been healthier and cleaner if this was excepted! Most of the buildings are unkept. Especially RHS. It is an embarassment to the students and staff. There may be 20 or more people assigned there throughtout the shifts, and yet the hallways, bathrooms, and classrooms are absolutely horrid. Really, it is embarassing throughout the district (except for a FEW SCHOOLS.)
Cellphones/ long distant phone lines?????.... or health and cleanliness???
I'd be concerned about the Walk Around Money that never reaches the School Board Agenda. For example: Principals Fund, Dept. Heads, Extra Summer Hours, etc. ALL monies MUST go through a committee.
IF THE SCHOOL BOARD,FACULTY AND STAFF WOULDNT LOOK DOWN AT THE TEAMSTERS (MAINTENENCE AND CUSTODIAL STAFF)LIKE SCUM AND DIRT AND GIVE THEM A REAL RAISE LIKE THE FAT PIGS DOWN TOWN AND MAYBE MORE WORK WOULD GET DONE AND THEY WOULD HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR THERE JOBS THIS IS A COME BACK FROM THE 1ST COMMENT
LETS TALK ABOUT SAVINGS.THE CELL PHONES NAH,LONG DISTANCE CALLS NOPE AND ENERGY SAVINGS MAYBE.THIS IS TRIVIAL.YOU KNOW DON'T WORRY KEITH IT'S SMALL CHANGE.FUNNY SOMETIMES SMALL THINGS CREATE BIG HEADACHES.HOW BOUT BOARD MEMBERS THAT GIVE ADMINISTRATORS AND THEIR SPOUSES PAID UP HEALTH INSURANCE FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES VIA THE TAXPAYERS.HOW ABOUT LETTING ONE USE A DISTRICT VEHICLE TO COST THE TAXPAYERS MONEY IN GAS.THEN LET'S GIVE OUT RAISES FOR SUCH A GREAT JOB THEIR DOING WITH ALL THEIR ASSISTANTS THEY NEED.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MR. STAMM.THE TAXPAYERS WILL KNOW WHO TO ELECT NEXT TIME.
