The original act was sponsored by Senator Teddy Kennedy (D- Mass), caused federal education spending to more than double.

Does "No Child Left Behind" make a legitimate difference in the lives of children, or is it more mismanaged Federal pork?

Did you see this week's episode of The Wire, called "Know Your Place"? If not, please do check it out.

If I didn't know better, I'd think The Wire was filmed in Reading.

And they blame poor Mr. Bush. As spending goes UP, education goes DOWN. Lots of money in stupid kids! Notice how everyone in town want a piece of the action?
